Only months prior, Ferino Distillery of Reno, NV had been uniquely selected by the exclusive producer of the coveted Amer to inherit the recipe and carry on the legacy of crafting this cherished libation.

Longtime friend of the J.T. family, Northern Nevada Paiute Gordie Glazier's signature Nevada Landscape paintings adorn many walls of the J.T. Basque Bar & Dining Room, as well as many other institutional Basque Restaurants throughout Nevada. With roots in the sage deeper than any, choosing Gordie to paint our first can design was simply the only choice we had to properly honor and commemorate our beloved state and STATE DRINK. He'll tell you himself that the honor was all his.
